1. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The latest version will always be on this page. If a change materially affects current members, we will tell you before it takes effect.

2. Applications

Membership is by application and a call only. We may accept or decline any application at our discretion and do not have to give a reason. The information you give us must be true and complete.

3. Membership

Membership includes access to the masterminds, the weekly group advisory call, one-on-one calls with Cian, direct WhatsApp access, the member community and the Systems Vault, as described on our website at the time you join. We may change the format, schedule or content of these services, as long as the overall value of the membership is not materially reduced.

Membership is personal to you and your business. You may not share your login, recordings or member channels with anyone else unless we agree in writing.

4. Commitment, payment and cancellation

  • Membership starts with a 90-day commitment. After that it continues month to month with no lock-in.
  • You can pay monthly or upfront for the commitment period. The investment is confirmed on your call and at checkout.
  • Payments are processed by our third-party payment provider. Monthly payments are charged automatically on the same date each month until you cancel.
  • If a payment fails, we may pause your access until it is paid.
  • After the 90-day commitment, you can cancel at any time by emailing us before your next payment date.
  • Your membership rate stays the same for as long as your membership continues without a break. If you cancel and rejoin later, the rate at that time applies.
  • Because the application and call are designed to confirm fit before you pay, payments for the 90-day commitment are not refundable, except where the law requires a refund.

5. Masterminds and events

We may change the date, venue or program of a mastermind or event where needed. If we do, we will tell you as early as we can. Travel, accommodation and incidental costs for attending in person are your responsibility unless we tell you otherwise.

You are responsible for your own conduct at events, including the responsible consumption of alcohol at dinners and tastings.

6. Recordings

Calls and masterminds are recorded for members. By taking part, you consent to being recorded and to the recording being shared with current members through the member portal. You must not record, copy or share any session or recording yourself.

7. Confidentiality

The Boardroom works because members talk openly about their numbers, people and problems. Anything another member shares in calls, masterminds or member channels is confidential. You must not share it outside the Boardroom or use it for any purpose other than your own learning.

8. Member conduct

We expect members to be respectful and direct. You must not:

  • harass, abuse or discriminate against anyone
  • use member channels to sell or promote your own products or services without our agreement
  • collect other members' contact details for marketing
  • post anything unlawful, misleading or that infringes someone else's rights

We may suspend or end your membership without refund if you seriously or repeatedly breach these terms.

9. Educational information only

Our calls, masterminds, SOPs, trainings and content are general education and business advisory, based on our experience. They are not legal, financial, accounting or tax advice. You should get professional advice for your own situation before acting on anything you learn with us.

10. No guarantee of results

We do not promise or guarantee any particular result, including revenue growth, improved margins or cash flow, stepping out of operations, or selling your business. Any results we mention are examples of what some members have achieved and are not typical. Your results depend on your business, your market and the action you take. See the Earnings Disclaimer on our website for more.

11. Intellectual property

All content on our website and in the membership, including SOPs, trainings, templates, recordings, frameworks and The Subcontractor's Edge, is owned by or licensed to us.

While you are a member, you may use the SOPs and templates inside your own business and share them with your own team for that purpose. You must not sell, publish, resell or share them with anyone outside your business, or use them to create a competing program.

12. Your content

If you post content, feedback or questions in member channels or calls, you keep ownership of it. You give us a free, ongoing licence to use it to run and improve the Boardroom, for example to turn a member problem into a training or SOP. We will not identify you in public material without your permission.

13. Website use

You must not use our website in a way that breaks the law, damages the site, or interferes with other users. Links to other websites are for convenience only. We are not responsible for their content or privacy practices.

14. Australian Consumer Law

Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or changes any right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot lawfully be excluded.

15. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, or any loss of profit, revenue or business, arising from your use of our website or membership. Where our liability cannot be excluded but can be limited, it is limited to supplying the services again or refunding the fees you paid for the affected services.

16. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify us against any loss or claim that arises from your breach of these terms or your misuse of our content.

17. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Western Australia. You and we submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Western Australia.

18. General

If any part of these terms is found to be invalid, the rest continues to apply. Nothing in these terms creates a partnership, joint venture, employment or agency relationship between you and us.
